Frequently Asked Questions

Vested in Voices (VīV) provides an ongoing place where those that have been historically left out of decision making and influence on community projects, can now share their perspectives and ideas. VīV creates an opportunity for local government and community organizations to hear these perspectives and ideas directly and ensure that they are considered in the decision making process.

Further, VīVcreates opportunities for communication between you, your local government, local organizations, and community members by not only responding to surveys, but by posting your ideas and thoughts and having the ability to hear how other community members are feeling.

As a member, you will have an opportunity to share your thoughts and ideas on community projects, communicate with other members, and be entered to win weekly prizes. To become a member, you’ll need to create a Vested in Voice profile. This helps us verify that those sharing their voices are indeed from the local community. You can complete your profile here.

You can stay up to date on projects by going to the Projects page and clicking on the project of interest. Once you click on a specific project, you can get updates under the Impact tab. You can also hear from other community members and share your own thoughts through the Feed tab. The Project page link is located at the top of the Home Page.
